Saturday Lunchtime. We found this little gem of a cafe opposite a church. 5 minutes walk from the main shopping areas. Great prices beautifully decorated and a lovely friendly family business. the quality was superb. watch out for those cakes. yummy. We sat in the window with poppy (dog friendly) and enjoyed a delicious panini and latte each. 10/10
We were exploring the streets in Whitby and stumbled upon Stokers Cafe at the top of Skinner St. What a fantastic find. A lovely quiet location in a sun trap. The staff were excellent as was the selection of food and drinks. The cakes are extensive, delicious and home made. It's well worth a visit. The cafe is dog friendly too.
Went here today for lunch with my Mum and Dad. Great location in the heart of Whitby town centre with friendly and professional staff and lovely food (I had the cheese savoury sandwich). Highly recommended! :)

Quaint little coffee shop is the tail end of whitby. Scoon is to die for. Prices and atmosphere really good. Clean and fresh looking.
Stoker's is a lovely friendly cafe with wonderful staff & delicious food & drinks. We go as often as we can. We had lunch there on Wednesday and it didn't disappoint, tasty homemade quiche with a lovely crunchy salad and home made coleslaw followed by red velvet cake and a mug of coffee 10/10. Can't recommend this cafe enough xx
Friendly family run cafe with good food and very reasonable prices. On my second visit they remembered me from the day before and immediately brought me a second pot of water and a second container of milk when they brought me my tea! Clearly a favorite place with the locals just on the outer edge of the really touristy area. I particularly appreciated that unlike so many places, they don't feel the need to play their favorite radio station to "entertain" you. Simple, basic decor and seating.
We had coffee and a cake each after a brisk walk on the beach. Nice cafe, good coffee. The Bakewell tart was a little hard on the base but the lemon cake was good. Friendly staff, quiet and relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly. Worth a visit.
